 Better than mine Jan 03, 2009
I had (2) of these chairs sent as an anniversary gift in May of 2008. Since I did not see them prior to purchase, I hoped the recipients were being honest when they said how nice they were.
I got to see the chairs over the holidays, and wish I had purchased these for my use instead of the ones I bought. Mine have been used on the lanai only, and while comfortable, the grommits are rusting. They, however have had thier chairs sitting out to the weather from May until the end of November, and the chairs look like they just came out of the box.
I know their chairs have had heavy use, because friends and family from Europe have said how very much they enjoyed using them while visiting.
If mine need replaced this spring, I am ordering these.

I ordered two strathwood deluxe anti-gravity chairs. Both chairs were garbage. They din't sit straight, had scratches on them and parts missing. The packaging was terrible. I wouldn't recommend these chairs to anyone.

Poorly packaged, delivered open, don't know if this was delivery companies fault or not, may have been OK when it left the distributor.
The chair arrived somewhat bent, and wouldn't sit even on the floor, once in the chair everything was fine, a person's weight evened out the bottom supports.
The chair is not very comfortable, better than those tube-frame-in-a-bag chairs but not as good as it should be. The stops for movement are difficult to set, although they hold better than friction-stops.
The webbing seems not to be comfortable in the area right above the knee when the chair is in the reclined position. This is noticable after sitting in the chair for a while.
If you're a bigger framed person, the chair could be a bit wider.
On the plus side, the chair is inexpensive and had free shipping, and I don't mind leaving it unsecured outside.

I enjoy this antigravity chair everyday after work. It's the best, easy to adjust and very comfortable.

We have purchased these chairs in the past at a neighboorhood store. The chairs we ordered on line were just what we wanted, the right fabric, locking features, extremely comfortable, but they were so poorly packed... no packing materials at all in the box,and the boxes were delivered opened. Needless to say the frames were bent and we had to return them. We are having trouble being without new ones...the manufacturer must find a better way to ship these items.
